The short film, "Lazy Susan" is this super fun short film directed by Terri Timely. It's about Susan, a Chinese-American woman who's basically the laziest person ever, but she's also super smart. She's trying to help out her family's restaurant, but things get tough when some shady businessman opens a rival spot next door. Susan's all like, "Okay, I've got this," and she comes up with the genius idea of inventing the lazy Susan - that rotating tray thingy that everyone's obsessed with. It's hilarious, visually stunning, and it's all about how Susan saves the day with her creativity and determination.

In Lazy Susan, the sound and lighting quietly show how Susan feels without needing many words.

The sound is soft and subtle, helping us feel how quiet and lonely her world is. You notice things like footsteps and silence, which make her seem invisible to the people around her.

The lighting is often dim or dull, matching how stuck or unnoticed she feels. But when she starts to imagine more for herself, the lighting gets a little brighter, showing a small spark of hope.

Together, the sound and lighting help us understand Susan’s emotions and her quiet struggle in life.

The Antagonist is the ruthless rival businessman who opens a shop next door to Susan's family restaurant, threatening their business.

And the protagonist is Susan.
